To Newfoundland

Last weekend we headed to Newfoundland to visit good friends from Paul's grad school days. We had great weather, lots to do - swimming,skating, the fluvarium, bookstores, touristy things,great food and fun with friends.Now, I'm not quite sure why we left. I loved living in St. John's. Water and Duckworth Streets are vibrant, even with dirty sidewalks. The stores are interesting and every second place seems to be a cafe or restaurant - on that note may be it is better that we don't live there! Saturday morning, we had the best bagels I have had in ages from the Georgetown Bakery which I think is in the corner store at top of my old street!
